Eats once a day...what??!! Forget about nutrition, what about starving??!!
He eats once a day, skipping breakfast and lunch. After a long, intense day of training, he eats salad and bread for dinner. He doesn't care for meat or fuss about getting enough protein. Walker's a vegetarian. |

^^I've been eating once to twice per day since the last quarter of last year.
I wouldn't suggest the foods he's eating, or quantities... but there are a lot of eating styles based around once or twice per day eating that are very effective.

I only eat in a 4 hour window everyday. Basically once a day.
I eat a hell of a lot more than him though.

Yep warrior diet. I do have one "undereating" meal during the fast. It is berries and a small casein shake (15g) For my feast its a ton of food. Salad, veggies, 1.5lbs or so of meat, and whatever else carb wise. Then a little later ill have greek yogurt, almonds, fruit, shake, left over meat, whatever else. Basically have 4 hours to eat. Been doing it for a year now and will never eat and different. Amazing how much better I feel and easier it is. I lift fasted with BCAAs. Im very lean and my strength is not effected. Im on my phone right now but if you have any questons about it ill be happy to answer. I can't say enough good about eating this way.

The first link might get you acquainted with it first then the second one has a ton of good info and a bunch of different ways to go about it. It will obviously sound weird after everything you have been told over the years about how to eat.

Thanks.
I've been this lean before and I was doing everything right and eating super clean. On this diet I eat good but far from clean. My wife is a good cook and the only thing I make sure of is that I eat a lb+ of meat for the feast. Many times cookies, cake, ice cream, whatever junk is around gets tore up. I plan on eating this way forever. Just feel so much better and never get tired during the day.

^^Usually a moderate pro/carb meal pre-w/o and a large one PWO... sometimes another meal some hours later.
The pre-w/o meal is usually a fruit smoothie w/ protein powder.. or a pro/carb shake... or something equally light. I find that a light meal gives me a crazy pump.

It would be harder to eat the cals needed to sustain large amounts of muscle in a small time frame but there are different ways of going about IFing. I believe that it really doesn't matter "when" you eat but that you get the amount of food that you need. I also think that your body is more efficient in the way it uses the food you eat when eating this way and you don't need as much.
