does anyone know much about this? mallet put me onto it a while ago and i have to say its the best diet i have ever done for quick fat loss.

i lost around 44lb in 50 days, however I am at the same starting weight i was when i ddi that, thats gives me hope it will be easier to lose and also pisses me off cos i know its harder to keep off than get off, i do have an excuse, had a baby straight after i came off and she was in special care, so i was living out of vending machines for a month while in hospital with her, then i just never got back to any form of health since, now she is 6 months and i am starting again.

I know that in between hcg sessions this time, i will do keto. Also the last time, i had some chinese crap hcg and this time ive got pharma stuff and some t3 to use with it.

So gonna give it a good try, aiming for 1lb per day as usual so will update my progress and starting weight on monday.

actually no, not at all, alot depends in my experience on preparation, commitment and the hcg, ive tried it a few times and not managed to get started cos i was always hungry, but, I reckon the hcg was bunk and i just wasnt ready for it. I have done it twice last year with those same results and i felt a bit weird for the 2 weeks at the start, but after that, just total commitment, not difficult and not hungry

Yeah i know that bro, It just seems the problems have come in the last couple of years, ive always wanted to lean out but, I used to be way lean compared to now! I have managed to lose 45lbs twice last year and then circumstance and my lifestyle just put back on.

I am hoping this time to get a path back to what i used to have then build from there, takes some dedication i know. Day 1 was hard, so tempted just to eat crap for the sake of it, had to keep reminding myself, i am not actually hungry, i just want to eat, probably done about 400kals today.

lol if it was all muscle, I would be happy :) Its hard to describe my shape, I have no belly, its pretty much flat but I just seem to gain this mad body fat all over, bits here and there, and I dont feel particularly muscular or strong at all, i got tired out the other day mowing the lawn! lol

4th day now i feel fine, few cravings and thoughts but not really hungry, notice it most when going up stairs, must get to 150bpm on a large flight of stairs lol

I plan to get down to 100- 105kg then start building up, hopefully :) same as my plan was last year.

well its 3 weeks today i am down to 118kg so total loss of about 18lbs in 3 weeks, not that pleased so far really, will try and lose a couple more this week and then move over to keto for my holidays, then back on this for another 4 week run when i get back, 105 would be a dream for me :)

i did a bbq on sun for the world cup and friends, i did end up eating some meat so wont have stuck to my 500 cals, but luckily as it was mainly protein i shouldnt have messed it up too much, im quite pleased though this time as only 1 day off in 4 week period is quite hard to achieve based on my last experiences, even though your supposed to have none.

Also i am sure it was 127.6 when i started, not 126.7 but i guess that doesnt matter so much, i am gonna be stopping this as going away for a few days but gonna do high protein/fat keto diet while away or am gonna try then give this another hit when i come back, if i can leave at 117 ish and come back the same i will be happy. Then when come back 4 more weeks + on hcg hope to get down to 105kg then ill start to think about the gym again :)

How is your energy when doing this diet? With only 500 calories a day, I don't think I could do it. Also, do you follow the 'after' diet as well? Any issues with gaining it all back when you're done?

you definitely have to watch what your doing, its weird at first just going up a flight of stairs will make your heart rate elevate but if you read up on hcg forums there are lots of people doing it without problems, the problem i see for new people is people who have tried vlc diets and just see the number 500 and think oh my god i cant do that, this diet is nothing like a vlc diet without hcg i can assure you of that, i am 118kg and i can do it easy.

and as for putting it back on, yes you certainly do, i lost 45lb twice last year and put it all straight back on, but i put it back on, not the diet, i ate crap.

I have just done 13 days on my holidays after the hcg plan, i stuck to keto style diet, i felt fine, i didnt gain 1lb and i was eating huge steaks, fried chicken and all sorts

I did some research on it and I know a couple of people that have done it/are doing it. I went with P90X though. I figure if I'm getting back in the game, I might as well start with the diet and exercise that I will end up doing anyway. It looks like it would be a good jump start though.

yeah thats what i am doing it for good jump start, starting another 4 week plan next monday, hope to lose as close to 10kg as possible, then reasses i may do it 1 more time before then back into training and eating proper :)

114.1kg this morning, thats total so far of 12.5kg or 27.5lb in I would say around 5 weeks of being on it, i had a break of 2 weeks while on hols, but weight stayed same, so not bad going so far, bit less than i would have liked.

I feel like most of it is fat loss yeah, I can only work on theories and how i feel but for example on the water thing, when i went away for 10 days, i switched to keto ish diet, i i ate high protein, high fat as much as i could on a holiday, when i came back, i hadnt put on any weight at all(hadnt lost any) but that was my goal, so i didnt fill up with water, i am guessing i would if i ate loads of carbs. Thats why the diet works by slowly re-introducing carbs to your system in different phases as its supposed to reset the hpta from years of yoyoing thats what its all about.

im not gonna lie i do crave eating other foods not overly bad but its on me some days, the weight loss seems to be very sensitive also, for example eating 500kals or less per day sticking to teh exact foods you can eat you may lose 1lb per day but eating 550 or 600 kals per day and just eating 1 thing that your not really supposed to may result in no weight loss almost, i have never worked that part of it out!!

I can't imagine that your body isn't going into starvation mode where you are burning protein/muscle and preserving fat.

am not being funny bro but why dont you read up on it? and understand how it works, i was skeptical as you before i started it and i just thought no way this will work, I agree there maybe some other loss and my numbers are not 1lb per day but not far short if averaged out. The diet claims 1lb per day not me, its called the cure to obesity, pounds and inches by dr atw simeons

HCG Worthless as Weight-Loss Aid

Human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) is a hormone found in the urine of pregnant women. More than 50 years ago, Dr. Albert T. Simeons, a British-born physician, contended that HCG injections would enable dieters to subsist comfortably on a 500-calorie-a-day diet. He claimed that HCG would mobilize stored fat; suppress appetite; and redistribute fat from the waist, hips, and thighs [1]. There is no scientific evidence to support these claims [2-13]. Moreover, a 500-calorie (semi-starvation) diet is likely to result in loss of protein from vital organs, and HCG can cause other adverse effects. Gabe Mirkin, M.D., has noted:

At one time, HCG was the most widespread obesity medication administered in the United States. Some doctors liked it because it assured them of a steady clientele. Patients had to come in once a week for an injection [14].

Government Regulation

In 1976, the FTC ordered the Simeon Management Corporation, Simeon Weight Clinics Foundation, Bariatrics Management Corporation, C.M. Norcal, Inc., and HCG Weight Clinics Foundation and their officers to stop claiming that their HCG-based programs were safe, effective, and/or approved by the FDA for weight-control. Although the order did not stop the clinics from using HCG, it required that patients who contract for the treatment be informed in writing that:

THESE WEIGHT REDUCTION TREATMENTS INCLUDE THE INJECTION OF HCG, A DRUG WHICH HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED BY THE FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION AS SAFE AND EFFECTIVE IN THE TREATMENT OF OBSITY OR WEIGHT CONTROL. THERE IS NO SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE THAT HCG INCEASES WEIGHT LOSS BEYOND THAT RESULTING FROM CALORIC RESTRICTION, THAT IT CAUSES A MORE ATTRACTIVE OR "NORMAL" DISTRIBUTION OF FAT, OR THAT IT DECREASES THE HUNGER AND DISCOMFORT ASSOCIATED WITH CALORIE-RESTRICTIVE DIETS [15].

Since 1975, the FDA has required labeling and advertising of HCG to state:

HCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or "normal" distribution of fat, or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.

Promotion By Kevin Trudeau

Negative studies and government action reduced the use of HGC injections for weight control close to zero. However, their promotion by infomercial king Kevin Trudeau may cause their use to increase. His 2007 book, The Weight Loss Cure They Don't Want You to Know About, claims that "an absolute cure for obesity was discovered almost fifty years ago" but was "suppressed" by the AMA, the FDA, and "other medical establishments throughout the world." Trudeau further claims that until now, "this miracle weight loss breakthrough has been hidden from the public so that drug companies can make billions of dollars selling their expensive drug treatments and surgical procedures for obesity." The alleged cure consists of HCG injections plus 50 to 60 required and recommended do's and don'ts [16].

In September 2007, the FTC charged Kevin Trudeau with violating a court order by misrepresenting the contents of the book. In infomercials, Trudeau falsely claimed that the book's weight-loss plan is easy to do, can be done at home, and ultimately allows readers to eat whatever they want. Previous FTC action had led to a court order banning from using infomercials to sell any product, service, or program except for books and other publications The order specified that he not misrepresent the content of the books. The FTC is now charging that he violated that narrow exemption [17].

lol why dont you read it yourself?? instead of posting stuff like that, i could find 100s of posts everywhere telling you about steroids are bad for you or how hgh doesnt work or whatever but we all know different.

The fact is me and there are 1000s of people out there using it who have lost a whole load of fat, are you saying im imagining my fat loss now?

i feel fine, i can do manual labour and get a bit tired but i am certainly not hungry most of the time, and manage fine, now if you ever tried to eat a vlc diet, you will see how shit you feel, this is just not like it.

All the research in the world aint gonna say shit on actually trying it, it works, end of.

Congrats on the weight loss. If it's working then its working. I do have to say this though. Trudeau is a con artist piece of shit. I know people who were in the IPT (international pool tour)..He had outrageous entry fees and kept all the money from a huge tourney in Reno. I'm not talking about a couple thousand either. He still owes people money from it,and they will never see it. Although some of the people sued his ass into oblivion,and he either had to pay or do jail time (which he has done on multiple occasions/always some sort of scam).

no doubt there is alot of controversy surrounding that guy, thats why i read the book, i dont necessarily like him just like the food, diet and drug industry theories, and i do believe some of it for sure.

i have been around these boards for a long time now and i have tried alot of diets and this one wins hands down for me

Well I am gonna give the hcg a rest for a while, I have got to around 106kg now which is total loss of around 20kg or 44lb. Bit disappointed as still cant see to get to my goal of 100kg or 220lb.

I had a shit day yest alot of emotional stuff going on in family life and i ate total crap biscuits and toast and all sorts, so i have decided after 5 weeks on vlc diet its time to switch to high fat/protein very low carbs for 4 weeks, try to maintain and be max of 110kg by 1st october, then do another month on the hcg and try to get down to the target of 100kg.

Still looking my leanest ever in many years and happy with so far, have been training but only light for the last 4 weeks now every day, but gotta have an mri on my back in a couple of weeks and they reckon i shouldnt be squatting or doing any overhead stuff, but I say fuck that, hoping the mri shows some improvement rather than deterioration
