Default any tips for keeping chicken from drying out??

I grill up about 2 lbs of chicken at a time and it sits in my fridge and I portion it out daily. If I eat it right off the grill its juicy and delicious. But after a day or two in the fridge its dry to the point where I have to force it down.

Anyone have any good tips for keeping it from getting all dried out?

I have a very good method for re heating chicken... can you do it in an oven?

Wrap your chicken in foil... leave the foil slightly cracked to steam. Your going to add a little bit of water in the foil before you heat it. Just a little bit should do the trick and your chicken will come out nice and juicy. I promise.

soak a paper towel with water(or chicken broth), ring it out some and cover your chicken. Nuke it on medium and you're good.
I just eat it cold and dry

When I reheat my precooked chicken in the microwave I usually sit it in something like gravy, some tomatoe type sauce or even lemon juice. That saves it a bit when microwave reheating.

It depends. During prep I was eating 12oz in a sitting if it was my only source. Sometimes 6-8oz with egg whites

Ya, I was eating 2, 8oz chicken breast 2 - 3 times a day and that lasted about a week before I was way too sick of it....

I dice it and soak it in low-sodium soy sauce with brown rice and broccoli but it still tastes dry to me. Probably b/c I've been eating it daily for months. I gotta think of some new shit.

I used to eat the breasts whole at night with hot sauce and I used the wet paper towel method in the microwave and it worked great.

Thanks for the replies!

I was eating it 3x per day but now I'm down to just one time and I'm just plain old sick of it. I pick out the chicken and just eat the rice and broccoli.

I can't stand reheated beef either. I should look into some kind of tuna casserole.

Slice it thin and cook it on the Geoge Foreman. I cook up one of those 3lb bags every other day. Doesn't seem to dry out unless it is a thick piece or I over cook it.

I buy the thin sliced breasts, they cook faster.

Maybe I should store them in my fridge in one of those vacuum sealed bags.

I buy it in the bags and they are pretty thin. I'll still slice them in half unless they are really thin.

I've never tried this with meats so let me know how it works out for you, you could always seal is in a food saver?

the microwave drys out everything that's how it cooks by h20 molocules rubbing together creating heat
try putting a glass of water in the micro with it
or keep it in the bag and place it in a bowl of water when cooking
I'm running out of original ideas here

Funny this got bumped b/c I was thinking of it the other day. My problem was using thin sliced chicken. Regular chicken breasts do not dry out b/c they are thick and hold the juices in. I've been eating grilled chicken daily now and its moist, juicy, and delicious.
