1. Alphalipoic Acid
2. Acetyl-L-Carnatine A researcher who I respect has put the two of these ingredients into one pill called the Juvenon pill. But what do each of these do exactly and do any of you take any of these? I'm just looking for a big of information on these and why they would go good together! |

I'd recommend RLA instead of plain ol ALA.....
RLA is the pure, potent and natural version of the anti-oxident Alpha Lipoic Acid. It helps shuttle carbohydrates into your muscle cells instead of your fat cells by increasing insulin sensitivity and the uptake of glucose. This improvement in carb utilization in people with insulin resistance means that carbs and sugars are less likely to be stored as fat and will be stored more efficiently as muscle gylcogen. RLA may inhibit the formation and differentiation of new fat cells. RLA has been shown to inhibit the transcription factor NF kappa B which has been shown to activate cancer transcription. This means that RLA is an essential tool in preventing cancer. RLA has been shown to enhance liver function, protect the liver and to help regenerate damaged liver cells. Recent research shows that biotin is an essential co-factor to RLA and works synergistically with respect to carb disposal and uptake.* Never use a lipoic acid without biotin. Lipoic acid affects your supply of essential B vitamin Biotin.
