avocados have carbs....

peanut butter is the only thing that comes to mind, and nuts in general

olive oil and fish oil caps are definately the best ones

I take 8 fish oil caps and 4 flax caps with my first and last meals. I also take 5-10 if I am only getting in a shake and not whole food.

A teaspoon of olive oil has quite a bit of fat in it.

Nuts and PB are great sources of fat, but PB has a bunch of sugar in it..unless you get that natty pb.

with all this natural and organic food craze going around, natty peanut butter has become more abundant and has also dropped in price

BTW, the brand of oil really makes little difference. Make sure it says on the label Omega fatty acids.....Omega 3 and all that jazz. El cheapo is just as good as the best when it comes to fish oil (in my experience).

Eat steak and get UDO's blend. Also keep up with your Fish oil caps, if you want add almonds, great source of fat too. You should have no problems getting in your fat, I take in more fat than carbs daily. Also, get some Lean Turkey Burgers , the ones I have are 9 grams of fat 19 protein so after 3 burgers you have a good ratio there.

I am pretty sure he wants good fats not fucking lard......

If he is going to get his fat from ribs , ribeyes and steak tips it would be like using lard as a supplement.

Fuck you might as well tell him to go out to get a two piece and a biscuit....

Only meat type fat I wouldnt keep to a minimum is certain types of fish cause of the Omega 3.

I never said eat ribs, but fat from meat won't kill you. I just said drop chicken and eat more steak dude. and by the way, so long as the beef is lean cut with no visible fat, it won't kill you.Unless it's just a terrible type of real fatty beef.

Beef Fat= Bad.......pork fat is the same shit

If what you are saying is true= burgers would be a good choice

I am also not saying fat will kill you, I am saying it will make you fat.

From my understanding any type of animal fat is bad except for a select group of fish.

Don't twist my words now. Burgers are not a good source or fat. I said drop chicken for steak, the fat from steak will not hurt the guy, he is lean from pics I see. In cases where people who are not 10% like you and I , yea steak will not be the best choice. But I do not think beef fat is bad at all dude.Beef has creatine in it naturally as well. People over analyze shit too much.

You got yourself twisted homie.....

And I definately dont want to make this into a argument, I didnt get the sleep for that shit and ill need another cup of coffee aswell. My whole point was that I am pretty sure that Hades is looking for "good fats" such as Omega 3, 6, 9 and other EFA's. All which of are not abundantly found if at all in beef fat, pork fat, or chicken fat.

This is from the Metabolic book....

"The dangers of red meat have been grossly exaggerated. Although epidemiological
studies have shown that people who consume more red meat are more prone to
higher cholesterol levels and to coronary artery disease, it's not the same thing as
saying that red meat is bad for you. That's not something you can extrapolate from
the available data because epidemiological studies do not show cause and effect,
only correlations and probabilities.
In fact, in a recent study red meat was shown to have beneficial effects on serum
cholesterol and triglycerides, the other important fat.3 In this study published in the
Archives of Internal Medicine, researchers from Johns Hopkins University, the
Chicago Center for Clinical Research, and the University of Minnesota Hospital and
Clinics looked at the effects of lean red meat and white meat on 191 patients with high
cholesterol. The patients were all put on comprehensive low-fat, low-cholesterol diets,
and were randomly assigned to get 80 percent of their meat from either lean red
meats (beef, veal or pork) or lean white meats (fish or chicken). The patients followed
their diets for nine months. At the end of the study, the researchers found that the red meat and white meat
groups had nearly identical changes in their cholesterol levels -- an average decrease
of 1 to 3 percent in "bad' low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and an average 2
percent increase in "good" high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol. Members of
both groups had an average drop of 6 percent in their levels of triglycerides,
molecules needed to produce fats.
Meat also contains conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), a powerful anti-carcinogen and fat
burner. As well, meat contains all of the B-vitamins, vitamin A, vitamin D, zinc, iron,
phosphorous, potassium, magnesium, and lots of high quality protein. It's a mistake
to completely exclude such a complete food from your diet.
Now that we've exorcised the "fat-and-red-meat-are-bad" mantras, lets have a look at
another: the one that says high-protein diets are bad for you. There's been a lot of talk
that high-protein diets are bad for your heart and kidneys. That's not true. On the
contrary, switching protein for carbs in your diet is actually good for your heart.
For example, a recently published study contradicts the theory that high-protein diets
may promote heart disease. The results of a 14-year study of more than 80,000
women showed that a menu rich in animal and vegetable proteins might actually cut
heart-disease risk. Researchers at Harvard Medical School discovered that women
with the highest protein intakes were 26 percent less likely than those who ate the
least protein to develop ischemic heart disease (IHD).
IHD occurs when an insufficient supply of blood and oxygen reaches the heart, often
due to the buildup of fatty deposits in heart arteries. Meat and dairy products, as well
as certain vegetable oils such as coconut and palm oils, are the main sources of
dietary saturated fats. Because saturated fats raise blood levels of LDL, it has been
thought that diets rich in animal products may promote ischemic heart disease.
The Harvard study strongly rejects that idea. As well, previous research has shown
that carbohydrate-rich diets reduce HDL, the "good" cholesterol believed to help
protect the heart from disease. Replacing some of these carbohydrates with proteinhelps boost HDL levels."

All which of are not abundantly found if at all in beef fat, pork fat, or chicken fat.

2nd post, I said to eat TURKEY burgers.

saying that red meat is bad for you.
The patients were all put on comprehensive low-fat, low-cholesterol diets, and were randomly assigned to get 80 percent of their meat from either lean red
meats (beef, veal or pork) or lean white meats (fish or chicken).

Book Summarry for you KT:

If you eat LEAN red meat compared to Lean white meat, the red meat is better because it has more nutrients but note the emphasisis on lean.

Hades is trying to get more FAT, the book states that people who eat lots of beef fat suffer from cholesterol and coronary artery disease.

I rest my case

Also I might not have been clear on my posts too , I didn't mean cut chicken and fish out completely, but for a meal or two during the day , it will help as well to get his fat goals. And off the record, it's ITALIAN STALLION not HADES making the thread bro, you mentioned Hades twice.

u keep coming

as I stated LEAN red meat is better then lean white meat , but no where in the book does it say someone who needs more fat in their diet should supplement by eating more red meat. In fact it says people who eat high beef fat diet suffer from high cholesterol and heart disease.

KT this is my last post.....seriously I dont know how else to explain it. Take care bud

LOL

I never said steak is bad, I eat steak twice a day aswell but I get a lean cut and take off all the fat.....to reduce the fat from it as much as possible and then get my fat in from fish oil caps and olive oil.

whole point being supplementing fat by getting in more fat from steak is not an ideal path

Bro , even is Steak is a lean cut with no visible fat, it still contains more fat naturally than chicken. That was my whole point...Drop the tuna for a steak .
