New Opportunity!
I have a new opportunity for you gamblers. I am starting the first vBulletin Hedgefund. Of course, those who buy into the limited partnership positions will have no recourse against management as management will be a corporation. I will control the actions of the corporation and for my services, I charge 2% up front and 20% of the profits for handling your vcash.
Now, according to the rules of establishing a hedgefund I will have to put a cap on the number of limited partnerships available. I can only accept 100 limited partners. Because of this, I have to establish a minimum for investment for qualified investors. Initially, I would have set this minimum at 1mil. Instead, I am setting the minimum at 25million points. This is a sportsbook oriented "boutique" hedgefund. I have a very strong track record in this industry. As such, you might be very interested in allowing me to manage your funds. If sufficient interest is established, I will go forward with this plan. I will then set up the fund and begin taking applications. Just in case you missed it, this will be for betting on vBookie events. You will have shares of the fund and can trade them as such interest arises that we can find someone to purchase your interest.

Not only will I manage, but I will invest. So that makes two of us in the fund. We need at least ten to make it viable.

For instance, the odds on the fight for may 5th don't show anything of interest for the fund. However, I will personally throw some at the fight for fun. But I would not jump at those odds to invest the hard earned v-cash of my limited partners. the pay out simply isn't there to make it an attractive enough opportunity for our collective investment.
