can these 2 be used together?
if insulin is only used on work out days post work out, can it be used effectively on a keto type diet? my typical PWO shake is 46g whey (con/iso mix) 18g liquid egg white ~70g of carbs from blueberries/rasberries/honey/banana mix. next i would have a decent meal of lean meat and veggies about and hr later. (ie portk chop 6 1/2oz and 4-5oz of broccoli) i am assuming this would need to be changed if insulin was used. also with all the avoidence of FAT with insulin usage i would find it hard to get enough FAT in on a diet that revolves around FAT. so can these 2 co-exist and how would one go about doing it? i work out 2x a week (full body work outs) would i need to use those work out days as "carb" days and forgo the week end refeeds? this is not anything i have planned to do right away or am planning any time soon. but is something i am thinking about. i guess more of a "Food for Thought" type question. |
