I think its a pretty safe pick. Mayweather is just way to good for a fighter like De La Hola.

Nope.

+220 on Oscar
-180 on Floyd.

Bet 100 on Oscar..win 220.
Bet 180 on floyd to win 100.

That's pretty close to 2:1

Floyd is a great fighter, fastest hands in the game but De La Hoya has change up his style many times to pick some of the best apart.....imo he should have won against Trinidad....only person that can beat him is Sugar Shane Mosley, but thats because Mosley has his number...something about his stylt that bothers oscar.

It's honestly too hard to call for me, but I will not be surprised one bit if I see De La Hoya Tear him apart....and makes it look easy.Floyd has better skills but De La Hoya has fought the best of the best, and dont try to say Mayweather has too because his notable oponents are all very young and not top of the line like de la hoya.....If yall thought Gatti was a notable opponent, well his mark to fame is that his fights are entertaing...why do you think they are?...cause his fights are like a streetfight, he takes ALOT of punches, de la hoya is not going to let him do this, Corrales...I like Corrales personally but he has never had a good chin, ive followed him since his start, de la hoya has taken shots from some of the most vicious punchers... Mayorga (idiot but he packs a hell of a punch), Trinidad ( his left hook can knock a horse out....literally), JC Chaves ( Mexican Legend...was too old to fight de la hoya but is top of the line fighter no doubts), Ike Quartey ( not a notable fighter for some of you but this guy was beast), and Fernando Vargas ( man was on the juice and was and is a great fighter imo).......only person that knocked out de la hoya was Bernard Hopkin...who did it with brains and not braun, hopkins is the most astute fighter ever and this is coming from someone who hates the philly shell style.

Oh if any of yall have really followed Mayweather, do yall remember Goyo Vargas....this men almost beat mayweather and mayweather refused to give him a rematch, Why do you think?

We will see though!

De La Hoya is pretty fast himself, and what make mayweather so good is not so much his speed but his rhytmitic (mispelled that I know) defense......also the wildcards are....

Floyd Mayweather senior aka. jr's dad and de la hoya's trainer ( not for this fight though) is out of the picture or is he????

De La Hoya- If you look he can box from orthodox or southpaw style , when he started he used to have left from hell but since he trained with mayweather he had a overhand right that was killer....I am wondering what type of styler or new punch is he going to bring out, since he has been training with Freddy Roach...another top of the line trainer.
